[ Google Review ] I have to say I highly recomend staying here. Krista was beyond my expectations. She really made the stay easy and was extremely accommodating and I felt welcomed. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. People that stayed there were friendly and not loud. Very peaceful stay. Definitely will stay again in the future.

[ Google Review ] The vibe is super chill and colorful. The people and staff are incredible, they go above and beyond to help you out. Everyone here was cool and interesting. The culture at this hostel promotes respect and kindness. You feel like you're friends with everyone the minute you enter. The area is perfect if vibes are a priority for you. Almost every wall, including the hostel's, is filled with art and expression. Plenty of seriously good coffeeshops, delicious eateries and hangout spots in the area. Will be returning to Austin just so I can stay at Drifter Jack's again.

[ Google Review ] This park is fantastic. With its vibrant scenery and clean environment this park is certainly a place worth visiting. It is incredibly pet friendly too, and you are sure to see many other pets there as well. Complete recommend for anybody that enjoys nature and spending time at the river!

[ Google Review ] The Alamo Drafthouse is the greatest theater chain in the country with lovingly crafted pre-shows designed for whatever experience you're about to see. Look for their special nights showing old movies. For example, seeing "Pieces" (1982) at this theater included a special introduction from theater staff, a passionate speech for an obscure film, really, and the packed theater made this the best theatrical experience you could imagine.

[ Google Review ] Absolutely outstanding. I made the pilgrimage from Charlotte, NC last week it was well worth it. I only wish I could have gone inside for the full experience as they were only doing curbside pickup due to covid. You better believe if I'm ever going to be in Austin again, this is where I will be dining. As a professional chef, i have to say excellent job to Aaron and the staff at Franklin barbecue. This was truly a unique experience. This barbecue is second to none! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

[ Google Review ] In these uncertain times, we are naturally wary of communal living arrangements. But HI Austin quickly earned my trust. It is full of caring young people, who made me feel at home. (76-year-old male college teacher)

[ Google Review ] I went on a food tour last week and enjoyed every minute. Even though I have lived in Austin for a few years, I hadn't been to any of the restaurants we visited. It was such a great way to try out new restaurants and taste their best dishes. The tour guides made the tour really fun and unique providing fun facts about the restaurants and the part of town we were touring. This is a great way to experience the many great restaurants in Austin!

[ Google Review ] I’m not a super Texan by any means and in no longer live there but it was still great to visit the capital building. Great architecture to see. Parking was easy to find and going inside was free, which is always a plus. As for the monuments, yes some are being looked in a harsh light, and I don’t agree with them but they are there and yeah I took pictures of them. Anyways it’s a good place to go and also to go to have your voice be heard.

[ Google Review ] I love this shop! I love the cute, unique things you can get here that's not part of the norm. We went through their museum, & although it's on the smaller side, it was entertaining. Wherever we go to Austin, I like checking this shop out because I like what they sell. Also, SUPER friendly & chill staff everytime we go. :)

[ Google Review ] What can I say, a masterpiece! If someone was looking for a picture or example of owning your own junk and making it into something creative and beautiful, this would be it! Vince has done an amazing job with his creative energy! There are little gems and awesome picture spots within this cathedral! I had so much fun, and there is a second story! I loved it! Will be back! It’s easy to call, book, and donations are appreciated! I came to Austin for my birthday and was very amused and curious as to what the Cathedral of Junk was all about...I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Thanks Vince for sharing your art with the world!

[ Google Review ] Fun place to drink. Probably my favorite in Austin. The hunt for the code is a lot of fun. The staff is great and does their best to serve you like your the only one in the bar, even if it’s full. The bar side swings were fun too.
