[ Google Review ] Amazing place to have a bath, the road to it is a hanging bridge, the water was super cool, a MUST visit! Lovely scenery. The water was so refreshing, a picturesque place with an amazing surrounding. A colony of waterfalls and naturally made pools. The experience was unbelievable. Safe for kids, parking spot available, a shop is available down the road to refill yourself. Personally I'd recommend anyone who visit Matale to visit this beautiful place with its amazingly peaceful and serene backdrop. Totally worth the kind of long ride to this mesmerizing place💫💫
[ Google Review ] Want to go but still can't.
[ Google Review ] This is a bright and colourful Hindu temple, easy to find on the main road through Matale town. You can walk around the site but I'm not sure if you can enter the temple (from the Southern side you can get a peek inside through the gated entrance). When you look more closely at the tower at the Northern end, you'll notice all the Hindu deities carved into it of which I believe there are over a thousand. Worth a stop if your passing through.
[ Google Review ] I went on a weekday evening so there were no one else. But Holidays its crouded. This is the temple where Buddhist teachings recorded in writing for the 1st time of Sri Lankan history (may be in the world too).
[ Google Review ] Google shows the location a bit further north than it actually is. But we found it anyway and had a great free tour by the owner who took us around and showed us all the different plants and spices in the garden. We had a complimentary spice tea - very good - and purchased some items in the gift store. They also offer cooking classes but we were only passing through but I would love to attend if we ever come back!
[ Google Review ] Pallava Temple
[ Google Review ] Tea estate in the background set this spot as a most perfect spot for photography to foreign and local tourists. The way this factory designed is undoubtedly perfect. No ticket fees to take photographs on this spot. But, you need to take photographs to enter the factory. Model tea packs also available in this factory. Tea ☕️ and many other foods are available in the nearby sales center.
[ Google Review ] For the full experience with easier climbs take the route through Baker's Falls then to World's End. If your only goal is to visit the World's End then take that route but make sure you return through the same route for a less exhausting experience. It is recommended to travel in the morning hours as the park closes at 5:00 p.m. and thee estimated time for the full route is around 3-4 hours (9km). Please don't carry plastics or dispose anything (specially the masks) to the beautiful landscape. Don't feet wild animals, no smoking or fire. To observe wild life and mist either you have to go in the morning or plan in a way such that you return in the evening (around 5p.m.). Happy Travelling ❤️
[ Google Review ] This is easily accessible waterfall. If you coming by a vehicle you can go very near to water fall and park there. The road is very good. If you are taking a walk go through Nanuoya railway station, it's a short cut and you can walk through the rail track which is nice experience.
[ Google Review ] Possibly one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. When the there is adequate water and when the water isn't murky, the St. Clair waterfall is the most beautiful. There is a nice viewing area by the side of the road, but if you want a closer look, you can go further down through the tea plantation.
[ Google Review ] Great view...
[ Google Review ] A place that feels like going many times though
[ Google Review ] One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. During the rainy season when the water level increases, the fall looks like a cloud of smoke. Once you come to the Dunhinda junction, 6.8km away from the Badulla town you can reach the Dunhinda falls. This 63m high waterfall got its name since the shape looks similar to a veil of a bride You have to go through a forest. Superb experience and You can reach the waterfall within 30 min. This is an amazing place in Sri Lanka.
[ Google Review ] Bambaragala pathana the perfect place for camping. If you go by bicycle you can go to the camp ground. If you are coming by car, it is best to park in a house downstairs. Most importantly, its firewood cannot be broken. So you have to bring firewood, or you can buy it from nearby houses. A bundle of firewood cost about 150 rupees. If they were brought to the camp ground they would take about 300. Carry as much water as you can. It is better to go before dark. There may be snakes on either side of the road. Very nice views in the morning.
[ Google Review ] Amazing view😍❤️ Love this place. You can go there by train or your private vehicle. Be careful when you walk on railway. My overall rating 8/10🌟
[ Google Review ] This is a very attractive place located near kadugannawa.a little hike to top. Amazing view.
[ Google Review ] This is not home, this is torture. They may be fooling you into thinking that they are big animals that need to be led. But it is so transparent that the they have drowned in thier own lies. This circus is only to make money. ALL five star reviews are local government employees who have been informed that they need to review the highest rating and it is included in their employment contract to do so.
[ Google Review ] Excellent place for sunrise. It has amazing views and the hike up is not too long. The last part can be a little bit tricky if you are going up in the dark. From there you have nice view of the Sigiriya rock.
[ Google Review ] One of the best places. You can Use Bikes ,Auto Road is not good for the vehicles. Need to ride the Bike carefully. Villagers are so friendly
[ Google Review ] Nice view and cool place in sigiriya
[ Google Review ] It's a hidden place of a gem in matale, such a lovely breeze to experience. It's a place for a family to spend the evening and watch the sunset, it has little huts and bench to view the nature. Night camping ⛺ are also allowed, contact the relevant office to get the permission, per person 500 rupees now. Drive a SUV 4x4, three wheel or bike to reach the locations, cars or less ground clearance vehicles are not recommended. Keep the area clean and safe for nature lovers.
[ Google Review ] Very nice place. But can't park big vehicles. Only few parking places r there.
[ Google Review ] Beautiful and Good Water level even in non rainy season. You can visit and watch the waterfall. Not allowing to bath or Walk near to waterfall as notice. Still u can take good photographs
[ Google Review ] Not much scenery with low water, But Nice place in rainy weather condition. Can have a safe bath here. Should reach by foot about 500m
[ Google Review ] Road is damaged and it is hard to reach by vehicle. It is better to park vehicle at main road and reach the place by foot. Should take enough water and foods because there are no any place to buy.
[ Google Review ] If you want to go… u should walk through the junction… just walking distance! because you will feel the environment fantastically! (Suitable for bus travelers) (Short cut also available) Waterfall bathing (bath carefully!) Ticket price 100/= Toilet facilities Eating cottage facilities with water Personal opinion- Everything is ok…. But not impressive… 5/10
[ Google Review ] It was amazing! Interesting road! Unforgettable experience!
[ Google Review ] One of the most beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is about 2km detour from Norton Sri Paada road to reach the top of the fall. To go to bottom it will take further on road. Flow is very violent in rainy season and steady in dry season. View is breath taking from the top also very risky to go to edge of the cliff.
[ Google Review ] Whether you are a person of faith or no faith, this is a real must see when visiting Sri Lanka! You will need to be reasonably fit as the only way to the caves is a fairly steep climb up a long flight of stone steps. That said, the steps are wide and well maintained so take plenty of water and enjoy the ever more beautiful views on your way up. Once at the temple itself, you're in for the treat of a lifetime! They are as incredible as they are serene.
[ Google Review ] Entrance charge is high.
[ Google Review ] must visit place, definite sacred place in the country. very well maintained and very neatly planned and organized. enough staff to guide the tourist around the premises. good security. very methodical. the serenity of the place is kept by the strict staff and also the people visiting are cautious. they have separate places to keep the foot wear before entering the temple. you need about 2hours to walk the entire area and visit the individual temples and the main premises with the relics. morning hours are preferred as the crowd is less in the morning and can do a leisurely visit at the temple and worship
[ Google Review ] Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, Kandy, is a wonderful place to visit. The entrance fee itself is very reasonable. However, the garden is huge. It should 146 acres and trying to take in the whole garden in a single visit is a gargantuan task. The layout is wonderful and so pleasing to the eyes. The varieties of plants is simply mind boggling. It has a large collection of orchids as well as a rose garden. It's visited by a number of foreigners who, I noticed, were looking at plants and taking down notes. Obviously, they are bidding botanists in the making. They also have buggy carts to take people around the gardens (at a very reasonable price). It's helpful to those who find it difficult to walk the winding and beautifully adorned paths. A lot of thanks to the Department of Agriculture who have taken the trouble to look after three garden with such care and love. A word of thanks is also due to the workers who daily water, prune and maintain all those plants and flowers. All in all, a place worth a visit!

[ Google Review ] Nice place and best background for pictures.
[ Google Review ] Very nice ❤
[ Google Review ] A legacy of Kandy cricket fans
[ Google Review ] It's just a 5-8 mins ride from Kandy towards hillside (I guess near Udawattakale) Parking available and the place has been nicely maintained. The view is nice up there but too cluttered with buildings. Even though it was a rainy day, the place was crowded.
[ Google Review ] Stayed for two nights. Great service, clean room and facilities, super friendly staff. Provided plenty of water bottles as well. The room cleaning service was awesome, they re-made our bed nicely, placing flowers on the cover. Love that attention to detail. The bar service was good, however, the food service needs some work. After waiting 40 minutes for garlic bread, we cancelled the order and ate elsewhere. So I do not recommend the a la carte here.
[ Google Review ] A very pleasant experience. It is a place of worship of lord buddha. Situated near Kandy and is able to reach this place within 30 minutes from Kandy City. This place is very calm and quiet. Situated in a mountain top. The road is newly carpeted and is easily accessible. Has a huge car park. We went there on a night time. Has a nice view of the lights below. It should have a very wonderful view in the day time also.
[ Google Review ] Waterfall is quite beautiful. But the people who going there to enjoy the beauty of the nature destroying the environment. Anyone can see empty beer cans, plastic bottles, bags, broken glass pieces from alcohol bottles. Go their. Have fun. There's nothing wrong having fun. But don't ruin the nature. You have to take a quite gruelling walk to get there. But the view is worthy. You can have a boat ride there as well. They provide life jackets as well. Such a nice place.
[ Google Review ] Ambuluwawa Tower is located in the suburbs of Gampola Town in Sri Lanka. There has been an increased popularity in recent times especially due to the breathtaking views you can experience when you climb to the top of the Ambuluwawa Tower. It is also known for its narrow spiral staircase which some visitors find challenging to climb. It is one of the coolest places to visit in Sri Lanka if you are up for the challenge
[ Google Review ] Wonderful place to take a rest in journey and to take the photos. We can see the old bridge from the new brighe which we travel. Old Bridge is in no use. It is call as fool's Bridge. Can reach the old bridge through narrow pathway, very close to main road. Under the bridge, running river is Good and safe spot to bath. Clean and cool water to bath gives good experience.

[ Google Review ] I personally recommend you to travel on off season. Because you can really enjoy a very peaceful environment and naturalized with the surroundings. Climb up before sun rise, can get a very beautiful visualization. Every srilankan must travel to this place atleast once in their life. While climbing the steps please bring water, short eats and best clothes for very cold climate for your energy storage. Climbing top make your mental health and physical very strong. Top 3 stage are really hard to climb so be aware of this. It takes more than 6 hours to climb up. Very admirable experience that i have ever got.
[ Google Review ] The location of this temple is the key feature. The temple is pretty decent and small surrounded by well maintained gardens. There no entry ticket. They have a pure veg restaurant as well in the premise with some gift shops.
[ Google Review ] One of the best Waterfall which you should not miss on the way to Hill country. You gotta climb up around 20 minutes to see the real fall which is breathtaking. There are proper concrete steps with side rails to hold on. Plan your trip with spending at least 2 hours for Ramboda waterfall. Park at your own risk on the road.
[ Google Review ] Near the Sri Padaya
[ Google Review ] Please visit and see only the beauty of this wonderful waterfall. I beg u not to ruin this queen. No dumping 🚯🙏
[ Google Review ] Peacock Hills is a mountain with 1518m in height, located in Pussellawa town in the Kandy district. This mountain is called "Monaragala" by locals. Peacock Hill mountain got its name "Monaragala" because it is shaped like a peacock. When looking at the hill from a distance, it isn't easy to imagine such a shape. A section of rock outwards from the main ridge at the top of the mountain. That part brings to mind a peacock's head and neck at the top of a mountain. To get there, you must travel further along the rock and descend slightly. On the top of the hill, that is the most beautiful spot. However, there are slopes on all three sides from there. Because there isn't much room, it's best to be cautious. Peacock Hill has a historical background as well. When it comes to Prince Gemunu's life story, this village is a turning point because he spent 12 years in a village called Kotagepitiya in Kotmale, which was at the foot of this mountain. Prince Gemunu (later King Dutugemunu) is one of the most well-known kings in Sri Lankan history. King Dutugemunu is still much loved by the country's population for uniting the country of olden times.) stayed in hiding after fleeing to Kothmale following his father's disagreement. Also, it is said that he lived in that village as a farmer and herder and that he used to take his poultry to Peacock Hill. Peacock Hill is located on the side of the A5 road to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy near Pussellawa, approximately 40 kilometers from Kandy town. Peacock Mountain is easily accessible by crossing the Kotmale Dam in Ulapane and driving through the Doragala villages. The road from Mahaweli Seya to Kotmale is the most direct route. However, the road is in poor condition. You can, however, travel by car. It is only 200m-300m to the top of the hill after reaching the end of the road.
[ Google Review ] Good place for visit look around and photo shoot
