Big landing place for cruise ship people so there will be things to see and do and stuff to eat around here. Big cruises unload on Saturday and load on Sunday (I think in that order). [ Google Review ] Very nice park. Various beautiful spots to take nice pictures at with the family. We found parking on the street quickly, we went for a quick stroll and took many beautiful family pictures. We did not stop at the playground but it was shaded and accessible. The park has many benches in the shade for guests to rest at. There were homeless people but they were not bothering anyone. So just go & enjoy 😊
good view of the water; easy access from Bayfront Park. May find something more vegan friendly close by, but I like the idea of a view and proximity. Here's one: https://burgermeistermia.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Menu_QR_Code_24.11.21.pdf
Have tickets to a free concert, spent $8 on handling fee. The venue is in South Beach. Would need to leave the Airbnb around 5:30 to get to the concert by 7:00 p.m. using public transit, and accounting for traffic
$25 is for the resort pass for use of pool and beach. I think this is a nice way to manage beach access and the cheapest rate I've found on Miami Beach. It's also in South Beach next to the iconic green space between the hotels and the Atlantic Ocean. [ Google Review ] The staff were amazing. Going out of their way to make sure our stay was a memorable one. I would like to mention especially Antony the food an beverage manager who personally spoke to us every time he saw us and took the time to ask about our trip. When he found out we were on honeymoon (as we waited in the bar for our room to be ready after check in) he had a bottle of champagne and two delicious chocolate desserts waiting in our room with a hand written note. This is the kind of treatment that makes a special stay spectacular. The concierge was also excellent and was able to give us great information about what to do where to go and how to get there. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Have a wonderful stay and tell your friends. PS ask about the history of the building. It was recently renamed in honour of a great man who may be the key reason south beach has maintained its 30’s aesthetic. For more info have a look at the coffee table books in the air conditioned lobby and read the plaque beside the reception desk. Thanks again Tony Hotel we will see you again.
This is the hotel that was the set for the Bird Cage, a movie I love. I'd like to come into the hotel bar and have a beer and an appetizer, so I'm guessing $30 for that. [ Google Review ] Had an Amazing evening there With delicious food and Alcoholic beverages. I loved the food here! It was super delicious and the drink was very strong. What a beautiful view of ocean drive from there. Live music is too good. Definitely don’t mind coming here again. Overall good experience
I'd like to walk by this building but not pay the $$$$ to have dinner in it.[ Google Review ] For me, dinner will have been a one time experience. The price was expensive and not worth what we paid for the quality of the food but we went there knowing what the prices were. I would definitely go back for lunch though, prices are more reasonable. Beautiful architecture! Service was decent. I went on a busy Saturday night. If you’re “lucky enough” to sit near the pool like we were, be prepared for your view to be blocked and surrounded by the never-ending photo shoot. We constantly had people in front of our table taking pictures. It was uncomfortable. Some lady put her purse and mask on our table while we were eating without asking if it was ok. People taking the pictures backing up without looking where they’re going bumping into my wife and guests at other tables. $247 for 1 appetizer, 1 margarita, 1 glass of wine, 2 entree’s, 1 side and 1 dessert. ***20% service charge included***
$5 for a bottle of water. Free self-guided walking tour.https://mdpl.org/tours/art-deco-architectural-audio-tour-self-guided/ If you want a guide, it's $35 each [ Google Review ] Nice little museum and visitor center. Free for Miami residents. The people at the front desk are super nice, they also have a lot of info pamphlets and maps to grab if you are a tourist. They mentioned they do walking architecture tours so I will definitely check their website for that.
[ Google Review ] It's a beautiful museum with amazing art deco architecture. It's thoughtfully curated and there's a cafe in the gift shop.
Will cancel this reservation and delete this marker after I do. [ Google Review ] We came here for a happy hour after doing a boat party in Miami and had a great time! They have pitchers of cocktails for only $75 which serve up to 6 people (which was an absolute steal) and their French fries with harissa ketchup were AMAZING. It was also super cute all around. I would definitely come back here again!
Older movies. Popcorn comes with price of admission. Hours are are around 5:30 to 11 p.m. Beautiful skyline view. Can have this experience, also in Ft. Worth, Texas. [ Google Review ] Such a cute place for a date night. Great views and service. They have a bar with really good drinks and a food truck with some good food choices. Parking was easy and you can have it validated so it will be free. We saw The Birdcage.
$12 adult/ $10 senior (over 55) $5 student (go NWACC!). Go early! possible to see the area for free also. [ Google Review ] Great experience! I spent some time in here, and I feel all creation are phenomenal. We’re glad that I was here to see them myself. PS: If you are a student, the price is $5. I forgot bringing my student ID, but the lady was very nice. She asked me if I have some email messages to show her I’m a student then it is totally fine. Recommend people come here, especially a tourist like me.
FREE admission but need to get advanced tickets through the internet. If this is something any of us wants to do, ... I can set it up. [ Google Review ] I would have rated it higher for its potential but timing is everything. The 3 story exhibit was more than 50% closed to the public because they were in the process of creating a new exhibit so there was not much to see and one could spending less than an hour to see what was available. Upside, it is free. Masks required. Not crowded. Call first to avoid disappointment. It has a small gift area. New exhibit opens mid May 2022. The art I saw was somewhat interesting. Museum parking lot right across the street. That building was art in itself. Worth checking out and has reasonable rates.
$16 adult admission/ $12 for 62+ Once had a First Thursday free admission, but I think it has moved to Second Saturday. [ Google Review ] It's free admission the first Saturday of every month. It's two floors, elevator access. The have a Andy Warhol exhibit which is cool plus much more art. The have an indoor/outdoor café with beautiful view of the ocean. You can walk the outside grounds and enjoy the ocean view and take pics of sculptures. It's a good family fun time. You can eat at the cafe or bring your own picnic. One thing I always look for in public places is a clean bathroom and theirs was super clean. Highly Recommend

[ Google Review ] We spent a lot of time researching hotels in Miami, looking for the best combination of user reviews, room options, location, and price. We ultimately decided on The Confidante, and we were not disappointed. We booked an oceanfront room and requested the highest floor possible. They gave us a room on the top floor with a spectacular view. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beach and pool included lounging chairs, towels, umbrellas, cold drinking water, and even sunscreen. (Water and sunscreen dispensers were available for no extra cost at the pool and the beach, which was really convenient.) Staff was all friendly and helpful. They were constantly ensuring comfort and asking if we needed anything, holding doors open, passing out towels, etc. Rooms were cleaned and restocked daily, and we even got a courtesy text asking when they could come back to clean if we had the "Do not disturb" sign on our door. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The restaurant is super expensive, so we mostly avoided that. However, there are tons of places within easy walking distance. There are so many dining options that we didn't even leave Collins Ave. our entire one-week stay. There are also free 2-hour bike rentals provided by the hotel, as well as a free trolley bus looping around Miami Beach all day long. Thanks to The Confidante for a memorable week!
I think the Broken Shaker is good on Thursday, especially if it's a North Miami beach day. I've got it on three days, because it's bohemian and comfy vibe and it's something I'd like to do one of the days. I've got reservations on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I prefer Thursday .. and will wipe the others once I have a thursday. .[ Google Review ] We came here for a happy hour after doing a boat party in Miami and had a great time! [ Google Review ] So far, I’ve had a great experience doing karaoke here. I like when karaoke places allow you to go multiple times. I’ve been to Sweet Caroline two times so far. My first experience wasn’t the best, but my second experience was ten times better. On event days, like the Halloween karaoke competition, it’s extremely crowded. I didn’t get a chance to sing more than once. Also, the judge seemed extremely biased. The person who won joined last minute in the competition and they sang an unpopular country song. When the crowd applauded, other competitors had a stronger applause yet the last-minute competitor won. Another thing I don’t like about the location is the table reservations that are apparently reserved by ghosts. They should remove the reservation if the person doesn’t show. Seats are limited as is. My second experience was on a Friday. No event, so it wasn’t too crowded. I got to sing 5 times and the crowd was really positive and fun to be around. Seating was limited as usual, but aside from that, I had a blast. We had two drinks and they were well made.
$25 for the souvenir. It's a photo opportunity near Cuban shops[ Google Review ] Calle Ocho is a beautiful and colorful street. You can see the Cuban history through their murals and street arts. It is a walkable and place to go eat delicious Caribbean Cuisine foods. The people are very friendly and welcoming. We felt very secure, we even saw people exercising and walking during the night. It was an enjoyable experience and has a lot of nice spots for pictures.
The $35 is for a cocktail and appetizer. Could go less and plan to eat at the iconic and cheaper place closer to the airport [ Google Review ] This was by far the best experience we had in Little Havana on our weekend of fun. We happened to hear the music nearby so we walked in and sat down. The service was so friendly and inefficient. We enjoyed the delicious strawberry margaritas. I was so excited because I had asked other restaurants in this area but none of them carried it. My friend had a delicious mango margarita. Our server, Kathy, was so friendly and such a beautiful person inside and out. She and other people here make this place special along with the art and the amazing bands that rotate through in the evening.

It is a bit of a mix between traditional and touristy, but there seems to be enough locals to justify a visit due to the quality of the food. Architecture is grand and stylish, with a lot of interesting decorative touches. Service was very good and efficient but notice that some folks might have a bit of trouble with English. The food was great and a very, very good value. Everything we ordered was good and plentiful. The Sangria pitch had a very good price and was a great addition to the meal. The Roast Beef Tongue was delicious. It is so hard to find well-done tongue in the US so definitely worth ordering it.
$30 for grazing in the Airport. Arrive 2.5 to 3 hours before departure time Departures: T/D: 4:56 (arrive 2:30 p.m.) B/E: 7:30-9:52 (arrive 5:00 p.m.) Kat: 9:00 p.m.(arrive 7:00 p.m.) [ Google Review ] Loved the Embassy Suites. Warm reception upon arrival and departure and great caring associates throughout my time there. Great location especially to get to my business locations and downtown Miami! Business Professional and Friendly Atmosphere. Great driver who picked me up to/from airport. Superb Manager Reception, Restaurant ( great server, too), and Breakfast. I recommend and will return!
option for Kat after dropping early flight folk at airport; take the Hilton shuttle from transportation deck $5 tip for going/returning rides The third tip for day passes: 1) Tony Hotel South Beach (Tuesday) 2) Confidante Miami Beach (Thursday) 3) Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon (Friday) ResortPass.com seems to be the most reliable among several options for day pass, and $25-35 is the least expensive) [ Google Review ] We were pleasantly surprised with what we received. The staff were amazingly nice and helpful. The hotel is great for the price you pay. We got to check-in early without being charged. I know, it sounds like everyone should expect that.. but I don’t except anything more than what it states in the contract. This facility went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend it and hope everyone receives the great service that we did. Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable.
