[ Google Review ] Really cool spot worth a visit. Elevator ride up and down gives you a quick history lesson which then continues throughout the visit as there are plaques with information and the workers are always happy to answer any questions. It wasn't too crowded which was really nice as well. Only thing is to be prepared to wait outside before being able to enter. Definitely book in advance. Security checks also required upon entry.

[ Google Review ] Reality Vs. Expectations 😊 These pictures I posted are reality . The place is crowded with tourists or locals , just people all over the place . It was fun , a lot of walking going around all the tourists spots In Washington . Going to Lincoln Memorial is quite a challenge for your feet. Make sure you have a good pair of sneakers 😊 or rent a scooter or bicycle . It was fun going around on scooter . Just need your phone and credit card. Different scooter has different price. Goodluck 😊 Lincoln Memorial reminds me of the movie “ Night at the Museum” . Lots of tourist taking pictures . Nice to sit down after a long walk and pictures taken . Breathe in and breathe out and enjoy .

[ Google Review ] I wish there were more than 5 stars. This was an amazing museum with so much to see. They had something for everyone-exhibits, videos, real hero’s stories to follow. There is so much to do that we did not get through it all. I recommend planning on 4-6 hours of you want to take it all in. I highly recommend taking in the movie “Beyond all Boundaries”. Our kids were fully engaged and were taking it all in. They stopped and read more than they have at other museums.

[ Google Review ] All of this incredible aeronautical history for free! The Smithsonian museums are such a gift. We went with our 4 kids aged 6 to 12 and they all had a great time. There’s something for everyone whether you’re a total science enthusiast or someone who doesn’t normally have much interest in this kind of thing. This is just a great family friendly activity. And did I mention that like all the Smithsonian museums at the National Mall, the museum is free?!

[ Google Review ] This was my favorite museum I've seen so far of the Smithsonian Museums in DC. Expect to spend 2 1/2-4 hours here. Note: The Museum is free but parking is EXTREMELY limited since it is near the National Mall and next door to the Museum of Natural History (I recommend visiting both of these in the same day if you can). There is no parking garage and while there is street parking, it is VERY, VERY limited and it is only allowed for 2 hours (not enough time to see everything). Use public transportation if possible. Ok- so we visited 6/2022 and the famous Wizard of Oz Ruby Red slippers are not currently on display BUT THERE IS SO MUCH ELSE TO SEE. The ACTUAL Flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to write "The Star Spangled Banner" is on display. The actual hat President Lincoln wore to the Ford's Theater the night he was assassinated was on display. The Presidential Ladies Fashion exhibit was my favorite- it is a 100+ year tradition for a First Lady to donate one of her gowns to the Smithsonian Museum. The American Red Cross Ambulance was really neat. The actual counter and chairs from Woolworth's Diner from the Greensboro Civil Rights Sit-In is on display. The Currency exhibit is exceptional. It was fun to see Julia Child's Kitchen. The Transportation Through the Ages exhibit has a lot of amazing vehicles of all kinds, and plenty of trains for my "Sheldon-like" train-loving husband. There are lots of interactive exhibits for kids and teens. I highly recommend this museum.

[ Google Review ] Lovely aquarium. $25 for ages 12+, $20 for ages 3-11. Lots of parking in front lot, but there is a $5 fee (pay at muni-meter). At this time, reservations are required. We were lucky enough to show up at around 12 pm on a Wednesday and get a 1 pm reservation…as we didn’t know and didn’t book in advance. Masks are NOT required throughout the aquarium. The beginning portion of the aquarium did get very crowded as it is a narrow pathway through a few exhibits, including the glass aquarium tunnel…when you consider tons of kids and parents taking a gazillion photos, this stretch of the aquarium can get chaotic at times…even with the timed reservations. After that area though…there is more than enough space to explore at your leisure. Lots of interesting and well-thought-out exhibits…be sure to look and read everything. There is so much to learn. The entire aquarium is well-kept and maintained. All staff were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend the aquarium to those of all ages.

[ Google Review ] A nice national park to go to. The board walk was definitely worth it with a nice raised path and information markers along the way. A good 2.5 mile hike and took about an hour. It is in a swampy area so depending on the time of year might be a little buggy and or muggy; so come prepared with water and bug repellent. But a very nice and easy walk with great information along the way and plenty of wildlife to observe!

[ Google Review ] If Patriot’s Point isn’t at the top of your Charleston agenda, rethink it! This is the absolute, hands-down must-see thing in Charleston. You get to go inside navy ships - large and small and understand the lives of a sailor and other military personnel aboard these ships. It was my first experience on a navy ship, so it was very informative and eye opening. I will say, there are a lot of tight quarters, narrow halls, and dozens of steep ladders/stairs to climb as your tour up and down and across the ships. I walked about 3 miles in total across 3.5 hours that we spent. We had to hurry through - and it still took us 3.5 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. The Vietnam experience is unique and worth walking through. The self guided tours were pretty well labeled so you can navigate your way through. Plenty of hands on things you can touch and watch, too.

[ Google Review ] This may have been the most powerful spiritual experiences I've ever felt. Something about this tree just called to me. It drew me in beyond being in awe of its beauty. It felt like I had been there before a million times. It felt so familiar and I can't explain why. It drew me overcoming me with the feeling to put my hands on it. As I stood below it looking up through its many branches into the small amount of light above it. A wave of calm and peace washed over me and I couldn't help but to start crying never knowing why. It was a great way to end our South Carolina adventure and I can't wait to go back.

[ Google Review ] This was the best park of all 3 we visited those time. plenty to do. All included meals. I was worried how people talk about how poorly the animals are treated. But I seen wonderfully healthy animals thriving. Our 5 kids 6 to 19 loved it. Great deal and we are definitely going to go back next visit. Christmas decorations and rides for big kids made it a perfect day.

[ Google Review ] I had not been in many years. The visitor center is much nicer now. We booked the Extended Historic Tour. The tickets are easily bought online. We gathered at a nearby shelter where our guide told us a bit about the tour and what it would entail. We then walked to the cave entrance. Inside is quite an amazing experience. With the Extended tour, you get to see remnants of the huts where TB patients were kept in attempt to treat their disease. Our tour guide was fabulous in telling us about the cave an its history. The tour is a little over two miles and two hours. There are quite a few steps/stairs. However, there are several breaks (with benches for sitting) where the tour guide talks about the cave. There are other tours available to match your level of fitness and what you might to see there. Highly recommended.
