[ Google Review ] I take a walk way way back in the past. Amazing to see what civilization did during that time. The villages in the rocks are a High Point. However there are some beautiful sites and beautiful hiking trails. We visited in the winter and had a very fun time getting to the visitor center. A good park for all seasons
[ Google Review ] How does this place even keep edible sushi? They are never open... every-time i come to this place they are closed. Are they even worth spending money at?
[ Google Review ] Its a must do!! Go hike your mountains peeps. šš
[ Google Review ] I wish I could give this company zero stars. We arrived at 4.15pm, knowing that they close at 6pm. We bought our tickets ($105, family of 4) and went straight for the Gondola. We waited there for a few minutes and they told us that the Gondola would not open for the day because of strong winds. So we went back to the cashier asking for refund. The refused us the refund because they claimed that they are not responsible for weather and that the cashier informed us about this. The funny part is that the cashier *did not tell us a word* about this policy, and when we replied back accordingly they just told us to walk the bridge. Another "fun" fact: we realized that we forgot our kid's mask in the car when we walked inside. When we asked for a disposable mask, they asked $2 for it!!! (for a mask that is worth a few cents!) Haven't experienced anything like this for years. Yes the bridge view is fantastic but beware of how they treat their customers. I suggest go do something else in the area, plenty of opportunities like rafting and things like that.
[ Google Review ] Our guides, Luke and Lindsey, were the appropriate mix of professional and irreverent for a very memorable experience. The combination of hiking and extreme zip lining, set against the epic royal gorge background, was a great outdoor activity for our fit and adventurous family! The extreme zip line was truly extreme with high speeds, steep drops, and epic scenery. The highlight of the tour was definitely when my daughter hesitated to jump off the final tower and Luke gave her the slightest gentle nudgeā¦ the blood curdling scream followed by intense laughter will NEVER be forgotten
[ Google Review ] Great experience. Walking up the steep dunes is not as hard as it looks. The sand conforms to your shoe and creates a step as you climb. Hydrate well before climbing the dunes! Donāt wear sandals, the sand will be too hot on your feet. Sneakers with socks are best. Enjoy the awesome landscapes! One of a kind venue. Park entrance fee is $25 per car. This fee includes a brochure, a place to park, use of restrooms, foot wash stations, and drinking fountains. If you own a snowboard, bring it along with some wax for the board. Great family activity!
[ Google Review ] Los Lopez has quickly become our favorite restaurant in Monte Vista by far. You can enjoy the excellent home cooking style Mexican food on their outdoor patio that feels very safe for social distancing. I highly recommend the delicious fajitas. We have also enjoyed the burritos and tortas.
[ Google Review ] The food there is incredible we had one issue with a to go order and they fixed it immediately! An amazing group of people work there! A shout out to the chefs for hard work and a shout out to the girls up front, especially Taylor! You all are amazing!
[ Google Review ] The Rocky Mountain National Park is a beautiful place to visit. There were mountains and snow everywhere. It was absolutely breathtaking. Gem Lake, on the other hand, was alright in late November. During our climb up to Gem Lake, it was difficult, cold, and hilarious, to say the least, because the hike took a big toll on one of my friends. It took us hours to reach the top, but when we finally made it to Gem Lake, it was a lake not worth seeing because it was frozen at the time. That was disappointing, but we made is safely. Overall, I am sure Gem Lake is beautiful during other seasons that are not winter. Beautiful scenery and lake, if so. Would I visit Gem Lake again? Maybe not because there are other trails I would like to try. *If you are looking to hike different places, I would recommend getting a pass called "America The Beautiful Passes."
[ Google Review ] Great place! Awesome rock formations! Great view of the mountains behind it. There's a main paved path to trek then some easy/moderate maintained paths. We went on a Tuesday the paved path was busy but the maintained trails were empty. Found the perfect spot on Palmer Trail to stop and take in the view. Definitely worth visiting and it's free.
