[ Google Review ] Probably the coolest airport I've been to. The most private bathrooms, wheelchair friendly. So much space, and many areas to lounge in to be far away from large crowds. Not to mention the sick X-Men mural. Everyone was so nice. Can't wait to go back to Iceland just to experience this again.

[ Google Review ] Listed as a tourist trap, overrated, honestly like many things it’s way better in person. It doesn’t smell like sulfur like natural hot springs. The water is hot but not overly hot where you feel like you are going to get dehydrated. There is also a steam room, showers with their line of blue lagoon shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We arrived around 12pm. There honestly wasn’t a lot of people. I’m glad I came. Worth the experience.

[ Google Review ] Must see. Another beautiful waterfall. Easily accessible. Not much of a walk. You can walk behind this if you don't mind getting wet, it's very refreshing. Thankfully we saw this early hours when there was hardly anyone there. Toilets I car park not the cleanest. Don't forget to see the waterfall next to it!

[ Google Review ] If at all possible, try to get inside the cave - there’s actually stepping stones conveniently placed (they’re a bit far apart and require balance, so if you’re an older person just trudge through the river in your trusty waterproof boots, or maybe give it a miss). You come out beneath the waterfall - it’s a great spot for photos.

[ Google Review ] This place was gorgeous. Viewable from the road. Very short walk from the parking lot and easy flat path. You can hike up the top for views. It has a nice little river it falls into and the dramatic cliffs are breathtaking. Bathrooms nearby were coin pay only. But there was a cafe semi nearby.

[ Google Review ] It’s a phenomenal natural formation of Basalt columns and caves. It is probably most photographed location with tourists climbing and posing trying to take best pictures possible. Incredible place, definitely would recommend driving there rather than going on a tour.

[ Google Review ] This was AMAZING! There is a bit of a hike to see this attraction but it’s worth it. It’s about a quarter mile or less. The path is layered with plastic grating to secure your footing. This attraction is fully green with opportunity to take photos everywhere. Along the way you’ll find yourself taking photos because you’ll think you got to the attraction but there’s even more to see and better. When you get to the end, there is a metal deck that hangs over a cliff. You can get a great photo of the waterfalls and of the river. The rocks are covered with green moss. There is a second level on the metal deck for another, even maybe better photo taking opportunity. Ask someone to take your photo and remember this place forever. We will. It was just beautiful!!

[ Google Review ] Super short hike! It takes about half an hour to reach the top of the canyon from the parking spot. The views are absolutely incredible, Jurassic Park feeling. Would recommend doing the hike between 9am-12 (summer) for the best light into the canyon. Highly recommend this stop that is not indicated in guide books. Exact coordinates are indicated in other Google reviews.

[ Google Review ] Loved this place so much. The atmosphere is amazing, so many cool things to look at wherever you look! The coffee tastes great and they have many different options. Their own roasted El Salvadoran beans are my suggestion. The staff is incredibly kind and very knowledgeable on their craft. Can recommend this to anyone passing through as a one of a kind experience! If I wasn't here just on holiday I'd be getting my coffee here on the regular.

[ Google Review ] Big property with plenty of space to set up camp. The one WC facility was really nice but not enough capacity for the number of people. Some of our party walked a little further to the visitor center where there are super big and nice WCs.

[ Google Review ] Wonderful experience even though the place is packed with tourists waving around. You are provided a complete waterproof suit and you do not need anything but you. The engine is powerful enough to speed up until the back side of the lagoon close to the ice fall. There no more crowd and only ice and water.. The icebergs are so different and we saw birds and seals. Our driver was icelandic and explained many details.

[ Google Review ] One of the most unique beach with black sand and icebergs of all sizes and shapes ,the effect it brings certainly looks like diamonds…. The waves were strong and it tossed icebergs back and forth … just a few minutes walk from the parking , the information display at the start was excellent

[ Google Review ] Gravel Road pretty bumpy but perfectly doable when you have a car with above average ground clearance, 4x4 not required as the road is almost flat. But beware and take it slow. Parking space for about 15-20 cars in total. Path is easy to find, set out with markers. Please follow the path and avoid the ‘alternative’ routes. You need to cross a river, this was very easy (24th of July). Some steep parts (would rate the trail as moderate/intermediate) but mostly relatively easy. But somehow you always meet tourist on their brand new all white sneakers….and they were struggling. So wear appropriate footwear. They further you get, the better the views become so a very rewarding hike. It’s not every day that you get to see waterfalls, a canyon, glaciers, glacier lakes, a lava field, beach and ocean in one panoramic view. But here you can. Beautiful.

[ Google Review ] One of the iconic places, great to see. There is a nice, well equipped csmping next to this hike. The hike alone is about 40 minutes one way. The waterfall is beautiful. There is one more waterfall along the way. Hike was very easy.

[ Google Review ] Recommend this glacier walk over Skaftafell, but if you have time, I would do both because they're both unique. It's a shorter walk to the glacier and there's no river or sand blocking it at the end, so you can get up close. There are also small icebergs floating in the lake which is cool. The water is murky though. Highly recommended.

[ Google Review ] Our favourite campground till now! Such a high standard, everything clean and the campsite felt like a small, quiet village 🙂 we lokey the one night here - if not for our ring road plans, would have stayed longer! 1700isk per person per night + 300isk per shower (5min. each). Would highly recommend after a long hiking day!

[ Google Review ] This was one of my highlights of Iceland. There’s a bit of a walk to get there (not too long) which was really nice following the river. The pool was really amazing. We were hesitant to get in because it was raining - luckily we did and didn’t regret it at all! The changing room has hooks to hang your clothes up and keeps you nicely sheltered from the wind, and getting out was much easier than I was expecting. It’s such a picturesque location and is so natural. The water was warm enough for me, it’s definitely warm enough when you first get in, you do start to get used to it, the end further away from the changing area is warmer. If you’re on the edge about doing this - I would definitely recommend.

[ Google Review ] Nice stop and easy walk from the parking lot with very little elevation change. Probably 5 minutes max. Trail is well worn. It's not a giant waterfall but still charming and interestingly shaped. I took plenty of photos and a couple panoramas for reference.

[ Google Review ] The waterfall is visible once you walk into the trail entrance. It's a nice place to stop. Near the waterfall there is also a bear-like statue made of fur rugs and a cauldron. After we admired the view a couple minutes, we attempted the green (easy) trail which was sort of hard to find because the trail marker stakes dissappeared after a while and instead socks pinned to trees replaced the trail markers. We saw some cute gnomes and socks and fun hidden characters along the way. However it seems to be a rarely traversed trail because at a certain point the trail was too grown over to continue, and the bumble bees were practically in our faces so we had to turn around. Fun while it lasted, just wish it was maintained.

[ Google Review ] This waterfall is not well-known, but is beautiful in its own right. It is only a 6 minute drive from Skógafoss followed by a 5-10 minute walk through a small canyon. One can walk behind the waterfall or down to the riverbed and take incredible photos. Note that paying for parking is required here and one can do so through the QR code provided on the sign near the gate.

[ Google Review ] This was a lovely little stop just off the road. We were there on a beautiful, sunny day and it wasn’t nearly as crowded as the waterfalls in the area. My husband and I walked around the rim at the top and around the lake at the bottom. If you have to choose, I would do the rim walk as it gives better views and the colors can look different depending on where the lighting is. You do have to pay to see it, although it is not a lot.

[ Google Review ] We used the upper campground (telt) by the main building. Two hot tubes included!!! one of them really hot (we love it!), good and clean baths and toalets, there was a kettle to boil the water but no stove top. Main building is newly repared and there is everything you can need. Nice restaurant too. It was really rainy weather, but it was nice experience to spent it in the hot water. Relaxing stay. Campground was flat and preserved against wind by trees. On the golden circle. Perfect place. There was another campground down under this place, it is part of this camping place too. We didnt visit this one and cannot comment it. Realy nice and helpful staf. We can fully recomed this campground.

[ Google Review ] Very cool architecture. We went during the day. It was Iceland’s Independence Day! So there were flags around and that made it cool. Inside the church is very plain. The seats can rotate to view either end of the church which was a cool feature! Guessing most of this plain decor and stuff inside is to help focus on the sermon.

[ Google Review ] Get. The. Lamb. Shank. My partner gave me a taste and it was straight crack. The meat soup is great, though, especially on a chilly day. The mashed fish on rye bread was delicious and a good size to share with my partner. The rye bread ice cream is a perfect ending. I could have eaten the whole thing myself, but I had to share. How do you know a restaurant is great? We were making plans for a return visit DURING the meal. Also I have to mention that Julia was so sweet and attentive.

You can hear little playing music inside, quite empty to walk around in and there are little displays to read about it's history and a play area for kids.
