[ Google Review ] Wow, the first time I visited Yoyogi Park was back in 1990. And I've come back multiple times since then, watching the place change over the decades. It is still one of the most popular parks in Tokyo to visit, especially during the 1st bloom of the Sakura Flowers. MY last visit was in 2019, in March when the Sakura first bloomed and there were already tons of people all over the tree. Well, all I can say is that this park is still one of the nicest parks I have visited in Japan, and will continue to do so. And, if you come on a weekend, don't forget to catch the many events taking place, and of course the famous Rockabilly group that has been there since my 1990 inaugural visit. Wow, how time has passed!

[ Google Review ] One of the biggest park in Tokyo to visit. Very close to Museums and the zoo with panda, this is a great place for picnic during the cherry blossom season (also at night!). You can see shrines and a nice pond as well. I like visiting also Ameyokocho, the casual street shopping area just a new walk away from this park.
[ Google Review ] Ultimate display of coolness while rushing to catch a train on time. Huge crowds moving in different directions and different levels of floors sans chaos. Wide array of colours, smells and flavours visible in the stalls selling variety of food and other necessary items. Central location to go in any direction and take any mode of transport. I just love walking there and even it is supposed to be a litmus test for checking your walking speed. Polite rush is the phrase. Easy to get lost but free wifi by JR and various shops helps you get the right way.
[ Google Review ] Such a beautiful temple in Kyoto. My favorite part was one of 'wise saying' displayed by temple. 'これからが これまでをきめる' was touching my heart. I took it as 'It doesn't matter what you did or who you were until now. It matters only what you are gonna do and who you are gonna be from now on.' I used to live in Japan when I was in early 20s. Hope I wasn't wrong.
[ Google Review ] I definitely recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. We came Friday/Saturday with 2 day passes. The lines to come in are long, the lines for the rides are long, the lines for food (snacks) are long. If you can definitely get the express passes they are worth the $$$. Nintendo World is cool but VERY VERY busy. Once the area is full you'll have to get a timed area ticket via their ticket section in the park or via APP. (APP is easiest.) The restaurants inside are pricey. The Mario Cafe food was cute but the food was barely warm. Everywhere in the park the staff is helpful, and very kind. The bathrooms are all over the place (if you have kids download the app to show you where they are), very clean, and big. They could really use more benches and seating areas around the park. It is a lot of walking/standing so wear comfortable shoes.
[ Google Review ] Beautifully crafted handmade knives from Kyoto. The Shigeharu business has been around for roughly 600 years, and it shows. Amazing quality for the price. The wabi sabi is strong. Cash only.
[ Google Review ] It's wide, full of greenery and deer !! Deer were roaming freely everywhere. You can buy food for them at 200¥.just be careful about a bite, kick etc. Once you buy a food pack, deer will keep chasing you until you raise both of your hands up.😅😂 Todaiji temple is also there so you can visit it too.
Lunch (closes at 3:30)
Watch them make Mochi
[ Google Review ] Very peaceful area and beautiful to visit. We arrived at 0700am to the forest and had the place practically to ourselves for over an hour. (This is Obviously due to covid times) it Feels so special and we enjoyed our morning here thoroughly taking photos and catching the gorgeous tall bamboo in different lights ☀️ I remember visiting here a few years ago and it feels like a different place as it’s so empty just now. Best of all it’s free and you can come back anytime :)
[ Google Review ] Very kyoto-ish. Suggest to go on weekdays and as soon as the sunrise because everyone is still sleeping. That you can take nice photo. But most shops open around at 10am.
[ Google Review ] A very delightful and enjoyable dinner experience! The master was very cheerful and performed so well. Reservation via the website was simple and was required. Please arrive a little before time and don’t be late because he will start cooking when everyone is present. He cooked the rice all at once but he showed how to make the egg individually for everyone. The Omurice tastes fine but the portion was a bit small for the price. However, it was understandable due to the performance and show provided. The staff serviced well and was English-friendly. Recommend!

[ Google Review ] Not only a transportation hub but an attraction on itself! Hibike! Euphonium will always bring me to Kyoto Station because of the station performance from Season 2! For such a massive station, is is really easy to navigate through even when I visited the station for the first time!
[ Google Review ] Narita airport is a nice one! It seems like not too many people are using it for awhile due to the COVID but I enjoyed the nice old building as well as the renovated terminal. Some of the terminals seem to have some display areas so it should be fun to look around! My only wish is that terminal 3 should have more stores open until later days since many close at 7 pm or earlier… Anyways, keep up the good work! Cheers 🥂
