[ Google Review ] Pretty much a once in a lifetime Amazing 6.5 mile hike(total round trip). There is some elevation gain for this hike and areas where you are walking through very fine sand. Also due to the limited released tickets you are pretty much on your own the whole hike. We saw two sets of people in the beginning of our hike and that's it. So you have the place to yourself for the most part. Make sure you bring plenty of water and I should note that there is very little shade so you will have the sun to keep you company the whole trip. Like it or not.
[ Google Review ] 4x4 with high clearance required. Epic scenery packed in a small area so not a ton of walking. No bathroom, bring a ton of water though. We brought about 5 litres for 2 ppl and almoat drank it all. 100s of photography compositions, youre only limited by your imagination. Tons of opportunities for abstracts as well.
[ Google Review ] Really nice view of the river. Take care with the fall as sadly some people died there. You pay 10$ for the car park and in the sunset is full of people, you have to fight/wait for a picture without some people on it.
[ Google Review ] I was very fortunate to visit Antelope Canyon on April 19th,2022. You can’t judge it by it’s photo. You do need to see it in person and feel it’s own beauty. Face mask still mandatory there, that’s the federal and tribal law. Best to book tickets online. Best way to visit with plan ahead.
[ Google Review ] This park is amazing. We stopped at the visitor center and picked up our maps. We watched the movie, which was very informative. We went on a few easy hikes and drove the loop. The loop is a dirt road. The Saguaro are amazing to look at as well as the other cacti. We didn't see any wildlife except for lizards. We visited the West District.
[ Google Review ] A pleasant surprise! If you're willing to endure a 30 minute drive of washboard dirt roads the view was worth it! The roads are not well marked, but GPS got us there. I'd recommend printing/taking a map as we lost GPS on our return trip. The Falls are literally in the middle of nowhere! Pictures don't do justice. As you approach the falls from the parking area, you can hear the water thundering before you see it below! Be sure to have a hat, water, and good hiking shoes if you'd like to hike down to the bottom of the falls. The terrain is very uneven and rocky. Sharp lava rocks. There are a few man-made overlooks or shelters, otherwise no shade. Bathrooms were locked on our visit at the end of March, so plan accordingly. I understand March to April to be the best time to see the Falls flowing. Keep children close!! High cliffs and no guardrails!!!
[ Google Review ] One of the best hikes I’ve been able to take my family on. Challenging with a great reward at the top. Wasn’t terribly busy around 5pm when we started on a Thursday evening. Myself, wife and two boys that are under eight years old were able to do this trail with some caution. Be ready to climb!
[ Google Review ] Fantastic hike, super easy. It can be easy to miss the turn for the trail to the subway cave but it’s such a busy trail that you’ll most likely be able to follow someone going that way. The scramble up to the cave part was a little difficult but manageable. There are old rock dwellings (this used to be native land) so be careful to not disturb. We’re lucky to be able to have access to this, I wish people would be more respectful.
[ Google Review ] Ohh. Where do I start I’ve been coming to this part of the canyon for years there is so much beauty and love here sycamore canyon is about a 2 mile hike 1 in 1 out bring plenty as water as you always should on a arizona hike pick up after yourself lots of wildlife in the area. 4x4 Vehicle is recommended but I have seen all types of vehicle. Some pictures to give you idea of this wonderful experience and if you love to kayak there is plenty of locations to load right into the water!!!!
[ Google Review ] Amazing! My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious, the staff were all very friendly, and the actual location was phenomenal. To get there, you drive on a 7 mile dirt road. We were able to do it in a Mustang; however, it would be much easier to do in a high-clearance vehicle. We did a few hikes while staying here, and they were well marked and easy to follow. We even saw a few wild burrow! The hot springs themselves were wonderful. They have a lot of activities you can sign up for. Overall, very clean and I highly recommend visiting. We will definitely be going back!
[ Google Review ] Maple and Ash Sydney, Serenity, Josué, thank you for making our first visit so special and now you know we have to come back. We started with their house drink (complementary)which was a prickly pear cocktail, delicious. On to cocktails, mine was to sweet but I was still impressed. I loved the large round ice cube that had a frozen carnations. I think that the presentation was good but if you were to take out the ice cube, it probably had a ounce and a half of cocktail. $19. Octopus with potatoes with chili oil was good, the mini seafood tower was good but I think all the food there it was way over priced! We had the steak fritz that was cooked perfect so are the french fries. We also ordered a 10 ounce fillet, that was cooked perfect but $68 was too much although we were able to cut it with a butter knife. We love the people, they all be on Swiss fantastic that bartenders put on a good show but be ready to go to the bank on this one. Be prepared, the dining experiences was great the food was good but the people made the night! Olivia, Jeremy, Kelcie (?) are other peeps that I met. I WOULD RECOMMEND
[ Google Review ] Front desk staff (Ashley?) was extremely polite, professional and helpful! She made our stay a breeze and a relaxing one at that! This hotel is very clean with detail to attention. The decor is hip and modern, yet comforting and functional. We practically had the gorgeous pool and poolside beds to ourselves - what a treat! Valet worked perfect with the ability to request your car before hand through an app. Great location too - quiet and walking distance to great restaurants and night-life. I will be recommending this place to my friends and family!
[ Google Review ] What a beauty! It's a paradise in the middle of the desert. It is situated in Arizona. To go there, you will require a booking of the lodging or a camp site. It's a lottery system to do booking. You can reach your camp site in three ways. 1. By hiking (about 11-12 miles) 2. By hiking but sending your luggage to the site using a mule. 3. By helicopter. If you're a hiking person, I'll suggest the first one. You need to start hiking a little bit early like 5 am in the morning because it's difficult to do while the sun is up. Bring enough water while hiking. There are 2 ways to stay there. 1. Lodge 2. Camping The lodge is 2 miles away from the first waterfall. Camp ground is just beside the fall. The places to see while you are there are 1. Beaver fall 2. Mooney falls 3. Havasu canyon 4. Fifty foot fall 5. Little Navajo falls 6. Navajo falls 7. Matkatamiba trail. The water of the fall is blue and it looks beautiful from the top. The Mooney fall is the tallest one and to go there it is a 2 mile hike from the camp ground and to go to the bottom of the fall, the last natural staircase is a little bit difficult. If you're a photography enthusiast, you have to take your camera. You have to capture long exposure photos of the fall. You can swim in the fall. The permit is necessary and the lodging is a little bit costly nearly $ 440 for one room for 4 people. If going camping, have your equipment ready, bring enough food and water. It is at least a 2 day trip. Enjoy the scenery there without any disturbance from the phone.
